As the State of Minnesota has shut down youth sports for the next four weeks, we thought it would be helpful to provide a training guide and other resources to keep our youth athletes active while hockey is on pause. This is meant as a guide and can be adjusted as the parents and players see fit.
Here are the association guidelines for the IRA Civic Center in Grand Rapids, generally following the Phase 3 Return To Play Guidelines.
Each goalie may enter 20 minutes prior to game time, can bring her/his bag and may change in the locker room.
All skaters must enter the arena fully dressed except skates and helmet, wearing masks until helmet is on before entering the ice. Enter no earlier than 15 minutes prior to the game time. Exit within 10 minutes of the end of the game.
As of right now, skaters are not allowed to bring their hockey bag into the arena.
Parents/spectators enter at game time. Masks required.
2 spectators per player. This will be verified at the check-in table.
We are a LiveBarn Venue. If you can’t make it to the rink, you can still stay connected by watching all events Live and On-Demand.
