GRAHA Board Meeting

August 10th, 2017

Meeting called to order at 6:10 pm

 

Attendance: Sean Colter, Dave Kuschel, Jeremy Carlson, Pete Miskovich, Chris Henrichsen, Chris Morque, Chris Marinucci, Mark Butterfield, Dale Christy, Bill Peltier, and Colleen Forrest

Gambling Update- Motion to approve June tax return. Motion made by Chris Marinucci, seconded by Dave Kuschel. All approved.

July Budget- Mtion made by Chris Marinucci, seconded by Chris Henrichsen. All approve.

Request for $500 donation to Blackduck Basketball Booster. Motion made by Mark Butterfield, seconded by Pete Miskovich. All approved.

Request for donation from GRAHA charitable gambling to GRAHA for boat and 4-wheeler raffle in the amount of $32,757. Motion made by Dave Kuschel, seconded by Pete Miskovich. All approved.

Annual payment to GRAHA for $55,000. Motion made by Chris Henrichsen, seconded by Pete Miskovich. All approved.

Check Register- Motion made by Dave Kuschel, seconded by Chris Marinucci. All approved.

Approval of July, 2017 meeting minutes- Motion made by Pete Miskovich, seconded by Jeremy Carlson. All approved.

July check register and budget profit/loss- Motion made by Dave Kuschel, seconded by Mark Butterfield. All approved.

Input from Boy’s PDC by Chris Marinucci on start dates for the boy’s program.

 1)Bantam and PeeWee start date of October 2nd, 2017

 2)Squirts start date of October 23rd, 2017

 3)Mites and mini-mites start date of October 28th, 2017

 4)Junior Gold start date?????

Boy’s PDC and Head High School Coach Chris Marinucci also requested an approval for the 2017-2018 season tryout and evaluation procedure with a correction. Motion made by Mark Butterfield, seconded by Dave Kuschel. All approved.

Girl’s PDC member Jeremy Carlson stated that the girls start dates will be on the same dates as the boy’s program per age level. Motion made by Chris Henrichsen, seconded by Mark Butterfield. All approved.

Girls PDC member Jeremy Carlson requested Mike Earhart to be named as Girl’s 10U A head coach. Motion made by Jeremy Carlson, seconded by Dave Kuschel. All approved.

Registration update- Colleen Forrest requested an ad be put in the Herald Review, plus flyers will be sent home from school about registration dates. Also requested were registration fees as follows:

Mites/8U- $180

Squirts/10U- $660

Peewees/12U- $890

Junior Gold, Bantam/15u- $1050

Dates for registration, to hand in forms and pick up raffle tickets at the arena, will be September 18th, 19th, and 20th, of 2017 at the IRA Civic center.

Motion made by Chris Henrichsen, seconded by Dave Kuschel to approve registration fees, dates, school flyers, and ad to be put in the Herald Review. All approved.

Boat Raffle- Request to keep boat raffle tickets at 10 per player. Motion made by Mark Butterfield, seconded by Jeremy Carlson. All approved.

Request made by Colleen Forrest for 47 new Jerseys that needed replacement. These will be bought from the existing supplier. Motion made by Pete Miskovich, seconded by Chris Morque. All approved.

Members Input- Board President Sean Colter asked if there was any member input. None was given.

Meeting adjourned at 7:44 pm.
