Fort Frances worked their way through the pool play to meet Centennial in the championship game on Sunday and came away with a 5-3 win!  Osseo/Maple Grove took 3rd place in the final star of the North tournament of the season.  For all of the Jr Gold tournament results, please go to the teams tab and click on Jr Gold.  Marv Burt has the whole tournament posted there...thank you, Marv!

The Grand Rapids/Greenway Lightning 10U A team continued their domination of the Star of the North tournaments, bringing home the gold on February 5th.  They beat a tough Mound Westonka team in the championship game.  Way to go, girls!!  Eden Prairie beat the North Country Bluedevils for 3rd place.

White Bear Lake was crowned champions on Sunday, 2/5 of the Star of the North 10U B hockey tournament!  They beat Eden Prairie in the championship game after working their way through the bracket.  Congratulations!  Wayzata took home the 3rd place medals.

Forest Lake beat a tough Brainerd team, 5-2, in the championship game of the Star of the North Squirt B2 Tournament on Sunday.  Way to go!

The Prior Lake/Savage Squirt A team were crowned champions of the Star of the North on Sunday, 1/29.  After working their way through the pool play, they defeated Lakeville North 5-1 in the championship game.  Good job!

The Roseau 14U A team went undefeated in the Star of the North Tournament January 20-22 to be crowned Champions!  They beat a tough Grand Rapids/Greenway Lightning team in the semifinals, 2-1 before they played Eden Prairie in the championship game.  The final score was 3-1.  The Lightning got 3rd place with only 1 loss.  Eden Prairie, the wild card team, beat Anoka in the other semifinal game 5-3.  The championship game was Eden Prairie's 2nd loss of the tournament, losing to Roseau in the pool play games.  Good job, girls!

The Grand Rapids/Greenway 12U A team won their home Star of the North Tournament held January 13-15, 2012!  They beat Hermantown and Spring Lake Park to reach the championship game.  Hibbing played the girls tough, but the Lightning came away with a 5-3 victory.
